customer's need

the company working with treated wood and they wanted to mark a nameplate.

advantages/ summary

the system is composed of a c153 engraving machine which is added of a tag feeder with a capacity of 150 plates and an automatic winding of transfer tape. a sensor was integrated to alert the operator at the end of the tape. 

the machine hits the tape and marks the nameplate; the inscription is easier to read thanks to this technique.

• alphanumeric marking with tape on nameplate
• the transfer tape gives a black color to the marking which contrasts with the color of the part.
