our customer required to mark different types of housing turbo positioned on large tooling systems. marking time goal<3 seconds. the mark is a datamatrix.
the solution proposed by sic marking is a versatile laser marking machine. it is capable of engraving different turbo casing. the machine can be moved with a forklift when changing organization in the plant. the workstation has a large workspace with easy access (wide door + tailgate with automatic door) to accommodate various special tooling. the laser can move on three axes that is allowing a marking area of 500x500 mm.
marking cycle: the parts are loaded on a tooling which is connected to a data acquisition system for control by an external pc. the marking head is positioned. the part is marked with laser. the set-piece tool returns to the upper position. the code is checked and the part is removed.
the datamatrix mark is made of 6 data (number, date, serial number ...) . these datamatrix codes comply with iso / iec 16022, as well as the standard borg warner bws 51007.
